The Wayne State University baseball program hosted its annual summer camp this weekend at the WSU baseball field in Detroit. Campers received fundamental instruction on all aspects of the game, plus had a chance to meet players from the Detroit Tigers, including pitcher Justin Verlander, outfielder Curtis Granderson, shortstop Adam Everett and catcher Gerald Laird. Pitching coach Jeff Jones and Bullpen Catcher Scott Pickens also attended.
Great job by the WSU Baseball staff and players! Thank you Detroit Tigers for making a visit to the camp. What a great experience for the young players in attendance.
